Friends of the Library

friends (of the Oak Creek Public Library) logoFor more than 25 years, the Friends of the Oak Creek Public Library has existed as an independent organization of people and businesses interested in assisting the library in developing programs, encouraging gifts, promoting knowledge and providing a channel for individuals and organizations to express ideas and make suggestions for library uses and services.

Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month (except for July and August) at 6:00 pm, typically held in the Multi-purpose Room.

We hope to see you, soon!

Membership in the Friends of the Library is open to everyone. If you’re interested, print off a Friends Membership Application or ask for a form the next time you’re at the library.

We hope to bring the sale back again in 2022 and thank you for your understanding in the meantime. If you are looking to purchase flowers of the same high quality, the Friends source all of their plants from Tehan Greenhouses. You can support this local business by visiting their Oak Creek location, or find more information on their website.

The Friends are always looking for opportunities for members to volunteer at the library. Volunteer opportunities are shared with current members at the monthly meetings.

  • Sponsorship of the Summer Reading Program performers
  • Movies at the library
