If you received an automatic notification that your hold(s) are ready for pick up, you do not need to fill out a Request Form.
We offer Curbside Pick Up! Starting November 28, this service is offered Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Saturday: 10:00 AM –3:00 PM. Last pick-up is 10 minutes before close each day. After 5 business days, items selected for Curbside that have not been picked up will be checked in and re-shelved.
For assistance with reading recommendations, where a librarian will select titles for you or your child based on interest, please fill out the Library Materials Request Form. Staff will use the information submitted to put together library materials we hope you or your children will enjoy. Requests are limited to 20 items per pick-up, per day. If you have specific items that you would like to request, or if you would like to request more than 20 items, you may do so at countycat.mcfls.org. If you need assistance requesting specific titles, please call us at 414 766-7900.
To request non-library materials like crafts and prints, please fill out the Non-library Materials Request Form.
Once we process your request, you will receive a notification that your hold is ready to be picked up. You may be contacted by a library staff member or receive an automatic notification. The method of notification is based on the preference saved to your library account and the types of items being requested.
Pick-ups do not need to be scheduled in advance. Once you receive a notification that your holds are ready, simply come to the library during regular Curbside hours. Park in one of the designated spots on the west side of the building, and call the number listed on the sign. A staff member will check out your items to you, bring them outside, and hang them on the Curbside Pick Up sign. Remain in your vehicle until the staff member has returned to the building.
Curbside parking spots are located on the west side of the library. Click the image below for an expanded view.
